Hello! My name is Madeline Miao. I’m currently a junior at San Francisco University High School and am passionate about Asian American studies. As someone who has a younger brother with a disability, disability activism and the work AADI does is extremely meaningful to me personally. At my high school, I am a leader of the Asian American Pacific Island affinity group and hold a space for discussion about disability in my high school community. Outside of school, I am a competitive equestrian and tennis player. I am honored to be AADI’s first intern and work with not only an incredible organization, but a group of individuals who share my passion for Asian American disability rights.
