I’m Jennifer (she/her/hers), the founder of AADI! A proud New Jersey native, I'm an undergraduate student at Princeton University, pursuing a degree in the School of Public and International Affairs. On campus, I'm the co-president of the Asian American Students Association, the president of the Disability Collective, and the co-chair of the Pace Civic Leadership Council!
In June 2020, my entire life was uprooted when I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). After learning more about chronic illnesses and invisible diseases, I became a 2021 International Fellow with the Crohn’s and Colitis Young Adult Network, as well as a member of the National Council of College Leaders with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. In grappling with my own dual identities of being disabled and Asian American, I realized I wasn’t alone in my journey. As AADI’s Executive Director, I’m proud to be creating the much-needed space to discuss the nuanced intersection between disability and Asian American identity.
