DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
ikshu@aadinitiative.org
A current sophomore at Johns Hopkins University, Ikshu is pursuing a Neuroscience and Materials Science & Engineering double major. As someone who is interested in both the development of medical technologies as well as their clinical applications, she loves conducting research and is currently focusing on developing models to study tick pathogens and their intravasation pathways. In her free time, outside of school, Ikshu enjoys watching documentaries, learning how to play the guitar, and reading novels! An Asian-American herself, she is excited to help provide a voice to Asian Americans with disabilities and bridge the gap at the intersection of the two, marginalized communities.
